Respite Care Settings

The Arnold Center provides free Respite Care for short-term relief in the home or community. This service is available for caregivers of participants currently involved in Arnold Center programming and may be provided in the following settings:

• Waiver beneficiary’s home or place of residence

• Licensed foster care home 

• Facility approved by the state that is not a private residence 

• Home of a friend or relative chosen by the beneficiary

• Licensed camp 

• Community location with respite worker training, if needed, by the beneficiary or family
