Community Inclusion Overview
Community Inclusion Services provide the customer the opportunity to enhance his/her participation in the community. A person may choose to participate in a variety of life experiences that may include, but not be limited to: leisure, maintenance of health, religious, and/or cultural activities, activities related to entertainment, communication, education, work, volunteerism, mobility and destination training, and development of living skills.
Community Employment Services are designed to provide employment options and supports, as appropriate, for participants who have expressed a desire and preference to work in the community, or possibly become self-employed. The array of services provided within Community Employment Services may include but is not limited to: vocational counseling, job development, application and interview assistance, on site job training, transportation assistance, training in social skills and problem solving to ensure success for both employer and employee.
