Residential Services

The Arnold Center helps individuals develop and maintain skills to achieve self-sufficiency in their home. Our staff works with groups of participants to teach and demonstrate important life skills. 

Residential Services Teaches 

  • Meal preparation 

  • Laundry  

  • Routine, seasonal and heavy household care and maintenance  

  • Activities of daily living 

  • Shopping  

  • Transportation  

  • Attending social activities and events 

  • Attending medical appointments  

  • Reminding, observing and monitoring of medication administration  

  • Money management  

  • Personal care 

 

Community Living Supports 

Participants receive assistance, support and training from qualified staff through Community Living Supports for activities that can be difficult for people with disabilities, such as attending medical appointments. When needed, staff members attend and remain face-to-face with the individuals during appointments.
