Participants work with job coaches to identify their employment interests, skills and strengths, and then develop a written profile to use when applying for jobs.

Once personal and career goals are determined, individuals create their customized employment plan. The plan includes specific and achievable strategies and outcomes that are documented and tracked to help with personal and job growth.

For individuals pursuing self-employment options, the Arnold Center offers support to establish and maintain an IRS-recognized self-employment business that is either home-based or in a community setting.

Participants can learn about the benefits of employment by working with a Certified Benefits Practitioner to review entitlement benefits (SSI/SSDI, food benefits and housing) and plan for financial strength.
