Job Title:    Community Employment Specialist/Service Coordinator

                  2 positions (Midland & Gladwin Locations)

Qualifications:

Education & Training:           

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Rehabilitation or a related field.

Licensure:

                                    CPR Certification

                                    First Aid Certification

Experience:

Experience preferred in vocational rehabilitation, special education or other related field.

Principle Function:        This position is responsible for interacting and building relationships with local businesses that result in job placement and career advancement opportunities for individuals with significant disabilities.  Conducts outreach presentations with local employers to explain the benefits of hiring persons with disabilities. Provides individualized case management services and supports that are relevant to the needs and desires of an assigned caseload and result in excellent customer satisfaction.
